The decisions behind a piece of software shape the experience of using it. We believe those decisions deserve attention—from the purpose it serves to the expectations it creates.
Our work can take different forms. The principles behind it remain consistent.
Make the important things understandable. Explain what is happening, what can be changed, and where the limits are.
People’s time, attention and information deserve consideration. Privacy and meaningful choice belong in the design conversation from the beginning.
Look beyond the first impression. Consider the details, the difficult moments, and how the work holds up through everyday use.
Good work grows from a series of considered decisions. We aim to carry the same attention through the whole process: questioning, making, learning and improving.

We begin by looking closely at the context: what people are trying to do, where the difficulty lies, and which assumptions deserve another look.
Curiosity helps us find a useful direction. Clear thinking helps us decide what belongs. Simplicity emerges from understanding what matters.

We value foundations that can be understood, maintained and improved. We make room for feedback, changing circumstances and the lessons that only emerge through use.
The intention is to create work that continues to earn its place in people’s lives.
